Stronger Rallys

'Stronger' is more than just a weekend. Every few months we will be having Rallies where students can gather from around the Sandhurst diocese to celebrate their faith.

During this time we will meet together for Mass, some music, worship and a great talk and then have time to discuss. It's a time to realise that you are not alone, and a time to be nourished, encouraged and equipped on your walk with Jesus.

These rally's are free to attend (on some occasions there may be a small optional charge for

food or transport) and will be held in different parts of the Sandhurst diocese.

The next Stronger Rally is on the 12th of June 2011 and will be in St Kilian's Parish Church and will begin with Mass at 7pm.

Registration

The weekend costs is around $99 per person which will include all food, drink and accommodation. If you have any trouble paying this amount please let us know; we will find a way to get you there if you truly want to be there!

Stronger is a dynamic Catholic retreat for young people. It’s about gathering with other young people from across the Sandhurst diocese and the rest of Australia for a common experience – encountering Jesus Christ and the Church, and being equipped, empowered and encouraged

to impact the Church and the world.

o Dynamic speakers focusing on relevant and practical topics

o Opportunity for communal and personal prayer

o Mass, Reconciliation and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

About the Speakers:

Fr Chris Ryan mgl is a well-respected and sought after public speaker. In 2007-2008 he travelled around Australia with the World Youth Day Cross and Icon. We are so honoured to have Fr Chris at our 2011 Stronger Retreat!

Fr Robert Galea: Fr. Rob is an Associate Pastor at St Brendan's Shepparton. He a=is an internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter as well as a great motivational speaker... you’ll love every moment!

Welcome!!

We are so excited and pleased to announce the fourth edition of the "Stronger" Youth Retreat and our next "Stronger" Rally! This is an invitation to all aged between 16 & 26 to join Fr Rob Galea, the Stronger Team and other special guests for these amazing 2011 events!

Young people will gather this June and December to ask, seek and knock at God's door. We will be discussing relevant issues and other spiritual things, and what it

means to live as a Christian… we will also sing, worship, pray, relax and just have fun.

The next Rally will be on the Sunday 12th June at St Kilian's Church in Bendigo at 7pm.

The Retreat will be from Friday 9th till Sunday 11th December 2011. (Click on 'The Retreat' above fore more info!)
